The two arts have always been closely linked and some of the greatest professionals have dedicated themselves to portraying the history of music in what have become legendary photos. Music's biggest stars would not be the same if we hadn't been able to enjoy the professional and improvised reports that have left track of their lives.

There are two categories open to participants: the first awards prizes to the best photographs about the world of music but in which no instruments appear. Backstage secrets, a break in the middle of an intensive tour, artistic portraits, the audience, the atmosphere, anything goes. The second category is for live-music and features everything from macro-gigs to intimate performances in small venues or even street musicians.

. A jury comprising journalists and specialist photographers will select the winning photos. The best (one per category) win an iPod Touch and the next 10 will receive a free 6 month VIP Premium subscription.
